Okay. Real talk, how did you end up on this blog or on my Instagram or reading this post?
First off, thank you & welcome!
And now I’ll fill you in on why I’m here..
My entire life I’ve always tried to embrace my creativity. I’m not kidding when I say I’ve done every arts and crafts project that you can do while still in elementary/middle/high school. (jewelry making, painting, knitting, making hair bows, drawing..) I’ve always loved reading and writing and drawing and party planning and have never quite got the hang of math. So to say I’m right-brain oriented would be the absolute truth.
I love social media and how it’s changing this world. Don’t get me wrong, there’s a lot I don’t like-but that’s for another time. I’m talking about these self-made girl boss women who are starting their own companies and gaining followers through Instagram and Facebook or Twitter. Women who are using these platforms to empower one another and inform one another. They create these brands for themselves and are able to show the world new places, new foods, new products and so much more. I can’t even tell you the number of places I’ve tried or things I’ve bought because of bloggers, vloggers, or those with a large social media presence.
Sooo with that being said- I’m not sure exactly how this whole thing will go, but I figured I might as well start somewhere.
I don’t have the perfect blog name (yet..please send suggestions) I don’t have a lot of followers, and all I have are some notes in my phone on blog ideas and a $5 set of presets from Etsy. But if you wanna follow along and see what all is in store, take a seat, sit back and relax!! I hope you enjoy my thoughts and get something useful out of my posts.
Most importantly, if you’re here- thank you for taking the time to read this and follow along with me on this journey! I’m stepping way out in my comfort zone and can’t thank you enough for supporting me and loving on me right now. I am grateful for each and every one of you and I can’t wait to get started….
